Rakshabandhan Card

Rakshabandhan Card

Hello Everyone,

The festive season of Rakshabandhan is on the roll and this time I have got many inqueires and advance orders for Rakshabandhan Cards.... The time was less and I wanted to make a simple yet gorgeous card for this occasion.

In India, there are very few brands which have Rakhi stamp sets and Mudra is one of them. I just love their designs and that's why bought their Rakhi Stamp set.

I took a white and red card stock, a lovely stencil from CraftTreat which has this gorgeous Indian look, few distress inks to make this card.

I took the two seamless stencils and distressed them alternatively with Mowed Lawn and Ripe Persimmon inks to create the beautiful background.

I then took 2 die cuts and stamped one of them with the Mudra's Rakhi Stamp set. Arranged them in center and applied the double sided tape to give it a good dimension.

Wola, the card is finished and I am very happy with the final outcome.

I hope you liked it too...

Paru's Card Making Challenges - July 18

After such a long time I am taking part in an card making challenge by the lovely Paru at her Paru's Card Making Challenge Blog. The challenge of this month is to make a card or tag on Birthday theme. So I thought of adding a recent birthday card I made to order.

This time I wanted to make use of my Patterned Papers which I was hoarding since long because they were my favorites. This is a shaker card which is again my favorite card type.

A beautiful album... A new step towards my passion

Hi Everyone,

Scrap-booking is my all time favorite and stress relieving hobby. I do remember when I first time explored the online world of crafting way back in 2012. I was amazed to see on the websites that the world is full of people who also thrive for this hobby like me... I wanted to make an album or scrapbook since long and here I am to finish my 1st milestone in my long and the most exciting journey. Have a look at the photo album I made on the theme love.It has 6 x 2 = 12 total pages where you can store your precious lifetime memories....

To make this beautiful album, I have used my favorite Bob-n-Betty Amor-mio paper pack which I bought from my most favorite crafty store CC.

ICR Blog Hop - Emboss Me Anything Wet or Dry

After a long break, I planned to partcipate in a blog hop....All the DTs have excellent entries for the blog hop and I thoroughly enjoyed hopping all over their blogs...

Below is my card project entery for the ICR blog hop. The theme is : Emboss me anything - wet or dry.

My favourite season of the year is Christmas and new year. One of the prime reason is my hubby's birthday also falls in December :) So I decided to incorporate the same joyous theme in my card.

I have used both the techniques of Embossing - wet and dry, in my card. The white cs is embossed with Darice Dotted embossing folder. The red poinsettia is made from Cherry Lynn Poinsettia Strip die. The leaves are die cut too. For the sentiment, I first took the white cs and die cut it using Spellbinders Nestabilities Majestic Elements. After that I stamped the sentiment of Merry Christmas(Hero Arts) using VersaMark Dazzle and embossed it with Wow's green embossing powder. The glittery look of the sentiments goes perfect with the Christmas season. I took a organza matching red ribbon and tied it on the embossed white cs.  The Christmas bells are die cut using Cottage Cutz Bells die, and then I have used glossy accents on it to give a shine...
I took the red cs and adhered the white embossed cs on it using the double side tape to give it some dimensions. The whole red cs is attached to the white card base with the double sided tape.

I hope you liked my card... I would like to know your view on that.
